Yes, you heard right, we’re back with another Quilting Holiday Giveaway event, and this year’s event has TWICE AS MANY presents!
YOU have numerous chances to win fabulous presents from the collection above!
Some of the presents (shown above and below) were delivered by Santa Hobbs and some I picked up during my travels this year (yes, that means there may be goodies found overseas at events like the UK’s Festival of Quilts!).
How do you enter to win in this giveaway?
It’s easy!
Entering the Giveaway
1. Complete this sentence in the comments* below by the deadline, midnight (central) on December 23, 2017:
“What I’d most like to create in 2018 is…”
Entry Example: What I’d most like to create in 2018 is anything – I just need more hours in the day!
2. Then join us daily on Instagram (IG: @hobbsbatting) to see one or more of the items that are up for grabs in the Hobbs Batting Quilting Holiday Giveaway and chime in when you see something you’d like to find on YOUR doorstep!
Oh, and feel free to leave an IG comment/wish as many times as you like and be sure to invite your quilty buddies to join us – we bet they’ll be grateful!
3. And for an extra chance to win, share this blog post and giveaway (using the social sharing icons below) on one or more social media channels using the hashtags #JoyOfQuilting and #hobbsbatting – you just might receive our ‘lucky 27’ bonus present for doing so!
This giveaway is open to ALL quilters, EVERYWHERE, age 18 and older.
Winner Selection
We’ll use a random number generator to randomly select 26 entries from the submitted blog post comments as our winners and those winners will receive one of our presents, hopefully the one they most wanted, based on the comment(s) they’ve left on this blog post and/or the comment(s) left on each of the Hobbs Batting Quilting Holiday Giveaway posts on Instagram (remember to use the hashtags #JoyOfQuilting and #hobbsbatting so we don’t miss your comments).
Please note: If you are one of our winners, we’ll do our best to award you the present you MOST want based not just on your blog post comment(s), but on the comment(s) you share on Instagram, but we may have more than one winner looking for the same present – so the more you comment, the better your chances are of getting your first, second or third present choice.
Awarding the Presents
On December 30, 2017, we’ll announce the 26 blog comment winners, and one social sharing ‘lucky 27’ winner, and each winner will have one week to claim his/her present.

The thing I would most like to create in 2018 is really a finish of an early quilt pieced by my sister in law who passed away in Sept this year after 8 years with cancer. Eileen had the top stashed away thinking it wasn’t good enough to have quilted, but she agreed that I can quilt it now that I have a long arm machine – so I guess I need to create the skills to do this top justice (its beautiful!)

Oh! One other thing at the top of my list to make in 2018 is a handquilted wholecloth!
